Advertising Assistant

**Job Advert Summary**:
To co-ordinate all Liquor & Tobacco advertising, promotions and communications

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Interact and work collaboratively with the Planning and Buying teams to ensure sales and inventory turns are maximised.

Work collaboratively with Advertising Agency and Marketing Department to ensure key items are promoted correctly.

Regular communication with relevant stakeholders and role players to ensure value added results are achieved.

Manage the Advertising Calendar and meet all deadlines.

Deadlines to be clearly communicated and distributed to the buying team timeously.

Consolidate the brief for the buying team for execution.

Ensure timeous communication to stores on promotions, advertising and events.

Provide administrative support for promotions and advertising.

Communicates any deviations to relevant stakeholders.

Performs various administrative duties timeously.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Matric / Tertiary Certificate

Advanced excel skills advantageous

2 - 3 years retail marketing experience

Understanding of the advertising process

Understanding of the RMS System, Promo Tool and SAP
