The Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa (HSFSA), a non-profit organization, is seeking to appoint one (1) Business Unit Administrator to be based in our Head Office in Cape Town.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Higher Certificate or Post Grade 12 qualification in bookkeeping and administration. Preference will be given to applicants with accounting software experience, such as Quickbooks
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in business administration
- Ability to collate information and write reports
- Good command of the English language in order to manage the details and legal aspects of business contracts
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and 2nd language will be an advantage
- Must be computer literate (Microsoft and Google programmes: Excel and PowerPoint)
- Must be a South African Citizen or have Permanent Residence

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:Communication
- Dealing professionally with Clients Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Be inclined to confirm all communication in writing. Dealing professionally and mutually with Client/s

Numerical
- Must have good Accounting skills to minimize risk for income generating programmes

IT (Computers)
- Must know extensive knowledge on Microsoft programmes (including Excel and word) and Google platforms
- Work on our Customer Relations Management Systems

People
- Ability to work independently and as well as in teams across different departments
- Strong work ethic

Time Management
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency

CORE DUTIES WOULD INCLUDE
- Taking primary administrative responsibility for the main income generating programme at the Foundation, the Heart Mark Food Endorsement Programme
- Working with CEO and Business Manager to ensure that provincial offices have the necessary infrastructure and tools to conduct day to day operations if needed
- Assisting with Asset recording and monitoring
- Liaising with Supplier/ s (IT, Insurance, vehicle registration)
- Secretarial Duties (Filing and recording company reports, registration documents, contracts etc.)
- Support other work streams and department to achieve organization mission and vision
- Written and verbal communication with the relevant stakeholders
- Maintaining programme client database (contracts)
- Demonstrate business ethics
- Capturing data, required-on Customer Relations Management System
- Invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payment
- Monitor income against payments due
- Print weekly age analysis and complete weekly reports
- Responding and recording related queries
- Provide assistance to the CEO, Business Manager, and Business Unit
