**Job Purpose**
- To assist in managing the strategy process across Corporate & Investment Banking to ensure delivery of a cluster strategy with measurable targets and deliverables, the monitoring of that strategy and the provision of regular updates. To assist with the delivery of strategic projects and to research best practice and thought leadership in order to contribute to critical thinking which improves the way we do business**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the delivery of the CIB strategy process and any strategic projects across the cluster
- Ensure alignment of the strategic directions of Group initiatives with cluster and broader client strategy
- Track progress and implementation of the strategy, and identify execution risks and propose remedial actions to strategic leads
- Ensure alignment with the strategy across the organisation and assist teams in finding coherence with the overall cluster strategy through strategic communications
- Develop knowledge of prevailing trends, financials and operating drivers across financial services identifying operating metrics and linking them to relevant financial metrics to identify the key value drivers for the bank
- Storyboarding to present a compelling narrative for a project or deliverable
- Developing the approach to address the project brief, and driving research and analysis with appropriate tools and techniques
- Contributing to conclusions and supporting senior team members in project delivery
- To continually improve ways of work to enhance performance and the overall functioning of the team
- Establish and maintain sound working relationships within NCIB and Group stakeholders
- Meet company policies and procedures, corporate governance and relevant legislation requirements by ensuring compliance.
- Build a high-performance strategy team through managing and recruiting resources, retention and critical staff
- Minimum Experience Level- 8-10 years Strategy and Analytics industry experience

**Essential Qualifications - NQF Level**
- Honour’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related business field

**Preferred Qualification**
- Master's Degree

**Preferred Certifications**
- CFA
