The transition of PMI from selling cigarettes to new smoke-free products has altered the way we work. New products present new challenges in terms of raw material sourcing and purchasing, engineering and manufacturing, and supply chain planning.

Bring us your sense of curiosity and desire to challenge the mundane, and we'll give you plenty of responsibilities. You will assist us in improving, innovating, and developing new operational methods. You'll be dealing with global supply chain issues like a smoke-free environment.

As a Line Coordinator, you will coordinate and lead the production shift team with the goal of achieving and exceeding key performance indicators, adhering to Integrated Operating System standards, and adhering to applicable policies, procedures, and practices in the areas of Sustainability (Safety, Health, and Environment), Quality, Production, and Maintenance.

Your ‘day to day’
- Create an autonomous, efficient, and highly motivated team by ensuring active participation, execution, and development of all team members on daily management systems in order to achieve long-term performance results. Coordination of team manning is required to ensure effective coverage on the production line. Coordination of shift daily direction setting, ensuring proper handover between shifts, execution of shift and 90 days plan, and replacement of any team member on the operation of a production line.
- Coordinate the execution of shift daily direction setting, retrieve stops/MTBF from reporting systems, identify major causes of losses, and establish with the team a daily plan to improve performance. Ensure proper handover between shifts, assisting team members with execution. Follow-up and support for shift and 90-day plan execution and adherence. Support planned activities, such as the preparation and follow-up of shift planned stops and change overs. Replace Line Lead on DDS execution and decision-making process in your absence, including support to overall Business Unit critical issue process on the shift.
- Ensure continuous and reliable operation of equipment, accurate adjustment, and resolution of minor quality and operational issues in order to meet/exceed the planned volume. Coordination of the required maintenance checks to ensure the basic condition of the equipment. Follow-up on the effective execution of daily management systems, ensuring proper coordination with the maintenance lead, team members, and maintenance department to fix defects and implement maintenance routines. Encourage and develop team equipment ownership.
- Monitor process and product quality compliance with Quality Management System, product and manufacturing specifications. Daily, supervise quality by analysing deviations and trends and identifying preventive and corrective actions. Perform the Quality Trigger Score, involving and engaging team members in acting in a preventive manner toward quality at first. Assist the entire team with Material Quality Assurance.
- Ensure accurate input of all vital operating data from the production floor (to provide a source of feedback on process performance and allow subsequent analysis to meet reporting needs). Procedure for Providing Assistance Lead on data integrity and report preparation for production losses. Ensure that all critical information on production performance or other relevant business data is available on time and is understood by the team and peers.
- Ensure regular review of implemented standards, daily management systems, and practices, emphasising the importance of full team adherence to them. Encourage, facilitate, and capture proposals from team members on problem-solving, eliminating root causes of major losses, and other improvement or diagnosing initiatives to campaign a continuous improvement culture. Ensure that critical corrective action is taken and followed up on if any deviation occurs and identify and implement opportunities for further performance enhancement.
- Manage and empower the team to achieve the assigned line(s) of business results. Perform regular coaching to develop the team's capabilities on the IMS's daily management systems and to assist in the personnel skill/technical development of each team member to build ownership and team autonomy. Build effective working relationships with all partners through good communication, a positive attitude, and tight-knit collaboration to enable the team to achieve the business result. Assure that
