-Introduction
Role Purpose

Take the lead in developing and implementing the proposition offered by Momentum retail investments.
Requirements
- Associate or qualified actuary.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in financial services with at least 4 years’ experience in a Product Development role.
- The ability to interrogate, balance the varying view of stakeholders and critical thinking are key skills
that are required.
- Ability to working with cross-functional teams is critical.
Duties & Responsibilities

**Design and develop product solutions (Internal Process)**
- Design product solutions that can support clients and advisers in achieving their goals and that are
future-fit from a business perspective.
- Take the lead in developing and maintaining new products and business solutions across all markets
and segments that Momentum Investments serves. This includes market-linked products,
guaranteed solutions and guaranteed income products.
- Maintain a core role in the implementation of products and changes from a system and experience
perspective.
- Contribute to the positioning, marketing and roll out of initiatives.
- Consider solutions holistically from a regulatory, compliance, financial perspective and understand
the impact on various areas of the business.
- Analyse and research opportunities in the market to develop new products or streamline existing
product offerings.
- Assist in implementing the strategic initiatives of the business.

- Keep abreast of market and regulatory changes and opportunities afforded by these changes.
- Keep updated on the state of competitor products and pricing models.
- Monitor the experience of existing solutions as an early indicator of success / warning of changes
required.
- Provide input into analysis and business insights.
- Present solutions and proposals to governance forums including the product management
committee, Manco, Excos, etc as required.

**Engage with clients in a client centric manner (Client Services)**
- Provide authoritative expertise to clients and stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders
- Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of
responsibility
- Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and
provides exceptional client service

- Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers, clients and
stakeholders
- Positively influence and participate in change initiatives

- Ensure technical product and legislative knowledge is always current in order to propose the most
relevant and innovative client solutions and comply with governance requirements

**Contribute to financial controls and planning (Finance)**
- Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency
- Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations in the
appropriate forum.
