**Line Manager**: Sales Manager
**Job Specification**:
**Key Performance Areas**:
- Achievement of monthly sales, volume and margin targets, by product category
- Quarterly call cycle needs to be drawn up, with proper planning and focus of activities required to achieve the rand turnover target
- Superior customer service and relationships
- Creation of a targeted customer prospect list with Sales Manager based on volume and rand value requirements per product category for the year and strategic requirements across all channels
- Achieve the agreed growth forecasted for the fiscal year by the Sales Manager
- Completion of new business development:
- Initial contact
- Needs Analysis
- Proposal of a tailored solution
- Guiding on implementation, if necessary with the prospective customer
- Ensure that agreements concluded with target list are commercially sound and viable
- Be present at each coffee equipment installation and complete customer solutions training on day of installation or alternative work with the technician and training department to schedule in-house training
- Measurement in sales will be completed in the following manner:
- Monthly and Quarterly
- Structured tracking against individual target list
- Reaching set quarterly volume and rand sales targets
- Meeting Call cycle targets
**Minimum Requirements**:
**Experience**:
- 3 - 5 years experience in a Sales role with a proven track record in food and beverage market with new business development as a key focus
- Knowledge of Business and Industry and Hospitality coffee equipment and solutions would be advantageous
**Qualifications**:
- Completed Matric certificate
- Sales diploma or relevant sales qualifications would be advantageous
**Additional Requirements**:
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to extensively with overnights stays when required
- Would be required to do some minor repairs, from time to time, on coffee related machines in the trade
- Ability to offer calculated and tiered coffee solutions specifically within Business and Industry and Hospitality channel
- Ability to effectively deal with top management, and key decision makers
- Would be required to undergo an intensive three months induction process, which include physical working and leaning the process of each department within the business, including technical, distribution, manufacturing, training and sales
