**Purpose of Role**:
Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropies (AGGP) is a multi-national philanthropic group of companies with its African operations in South Africa, Kenya, and Rwanda. The vision of AGGP is to attack poverty by investing in, nurturing and empowering entrepreneurs and leaders who benefit society by helping to accelerate meaningful employment creation while embodying the values and behaviours of ethical leadership.
**Objectives of Role**:
- Work with the various AGGP entity management to establish and embed a culture of compliance across the organisation.
- Enable regulatory compliance by the implementation of compliance risk management and monitoring plans. ]
- Review of the compliance risk management control environment across the business.
- Work with management to identify and evaluate compliance exposures/regulatory breaches.
- Provide guidance to management and Talent to ensure compliance with legislation.
- Monitoring compliance with applicable legislation and internal policies
- Identify and assess compliance risk areas periodically and appropriately address findings through relevant and appropriate action plan processes.
- Remain up to date with key regulatory developments.
- Assist Head of Group Risk with the risk evaluation frameworks and the rolling out of risk evaluations across the organisation.
- Conduct risk assessments and monitoring business operations and systems to identify potential threats.c
**Experience and Qualifications**:
- Legal or relevant Degree
- 3 years + compliance monitoring experience
- Experience working for non-profit or philanthropic enterprises will be advantageous
- CPrac (SA) or CProf (SA) qualification will be advantageous
- Compliance monitoring experience covering the Companies Act, Ninth Schedule to the Income Tax Act, Protection of Personal Information Act will be advantageous.
