Who are we seeking?We're looking for a Senior Node.js Backend Developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable tackling challenging, often messy problems. You'll join our talented engineering team of 6 (2 developers, 1 QA, 2 DevOps, 1 Team Lead). You'll be responsible for developing and deploying new features. This role involves plenty of hands-on coding and adapting to rapid changes while maintaining the backend systems at scale.
About the ProjectThe project you'll be working on is a Residential Proxy System, but it's not just a typical proxy server. It's an intelligent, highly dynamic system that routes requests to specific proxies based on a variety of factors, optimizing performance and improving the user experience for our customers. It's a horizontally scalable, load-balanced system. This is a critical component of our SaaS platform.
Please note that your work will also contribute to the development of other essential SaaS features like billing, user management, dashboard functionality, and subscription management. You'll be helping to evolve and scale these systems, ensuring they remain reliable, performant, and ready to meet the needs of our growing customer base.

As a Senior Node.js Backend Developer, you will :
- Develop and optimize backend systems for high-traffic, large-scale applications
- Develop new features quickly and efficiently for large, high-priority customers, often involving quick, unconventional solutions to meet deadlines
- Own the full cycle of delivering features, ensuring they're ready to go live in (sometimes) a short turnaround time
- Collaborate with other team members to provide the timely delivery of high-quality solutions
- Design and optimize database architectures in high-traffic environments
- 5+ years of experience with Node.js in backend development. Proven track record of working with high-traffic platforms and scalable systems.
- 1+ years of experience with TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including performance optimization and schema design.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment and remote teams.
- Ability to think creatively and come up with unconventional solutions when needed.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
