We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Jnr Report Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into insightful and actionable reports that cater to a variety of stakeholders.

Your expertise in data analytics and IT Service Management (ITSM) will enable you to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Gather raw data from various sources, including ITSM tools, databases, and data queries.
  2. Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to IT operations.
  3. Design, create, and maintain reports that effectively communicate key metrics and findings to diverse audiences.
  4. Tailor reports to meet the needs of different stakeholders, ensuring clarity and relevance.
  5. Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to enhance report presentation and comprehension.
  6. Create dashboards and visual aids that summarize data in an accessible format.
  7. Work closely with IT teams, management, and other departments to understand reporting needs and requirements.
  8. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reports are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  9. Review and validate data accuracy and integrity before finalizing reports.
  10. Continuously assess and improve reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
  11. Document reporting processes and methodologies to ensure consistency.
  12. Provide training and support to team members on report usage and data interpretation.
  13. Ensure adherence to data governance policies and ITIL practices in all reporting activities.
  14. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data analytics and reporting.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  1. National Diploma in IT or equivalent (mandatory).
  2. Data Analytics Certification (mandatory).

Experience :

  1. 2+ years of relevant experience in report writing, data analysis, or related roles.
  2. Proven experience in operational ITSM reporting and data interpretation.
  3. Optional (Graphics Design)

Technical Skills :

  1. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  2. Strong understanding of data visualization techniques and best practices.
