Job Overview


The Lead, Technical, Global Markets, FX, API role is part of the Corporate & Investment Banking segment.


This position involves scoping, planning, designing and delivering complex end-to-end solutions that meet required standards and timelines.


Key responsibilities include directing, guiding and overseeing technical solution delivery, interpreting business requirements, defining technical tasks, engineering quality software, end-to-end testing and troubleshooting technical questions, software and database issues.


The successful candidate will also lead, manage and mentor Software Quality Engineers across identified delivery teams to build and improve Engineering capability.



Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you must have:



  • A postgraduate degree in Information Technology.
  • More than 10 years of experience in software engineering, technology and related fields.
  • Broad experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing programming code to create solutions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as both a team leader and as a member of a small team of technical staff working in an agile development environment.
  • A track record in building capabilities and coaching staff.
  • At least 5-7 years' experience as a manager running a portfolio of 20+ technical experts.
