Projects Director for South Africa region

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Projects Director for the South Africa region to act as the liaison between our Product and Sales teams.

Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential partners and business clients.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in health insurance sector companies, developing leads from marketing campaigns, partner relations, and from our existing clients' up-sale approaches. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with partners and clients, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients in the South Africa region

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain client relationships
  2. Identify and research potential clients
  3. Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals
  4. Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders
  5. Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed
  6. Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
  7. Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
  8. Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business
  9. Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
  10. Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
  11. Track and report on the status of proposal components
  12. Conduct ongoing market research
  13. Work with the pricing department to create rate proposals
  14. Drive the end-to-end sales process
  15. Prepare and submit sales contracts
Experience, Skills and Requirements:
  1. South Africa Health Insurance Job experience
  2. Place of residence - South Africa (Cape Town, Pretoria or others)
  3. Proven work experience as a Projects Director or Business Development Representative
  4. B2B experience, especially in Health Insurance or IT solutions sector
  5. Local South Africa market knowledge
  6. Knowledge of AI / ML basics logics
  7. Experience with CRM software (e.g. AmoCRM)
  8. Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  9. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  10. Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  11. English level C1 and higher
  12. Seniority level: Mid-Senior level
