Sales Support Position

A dynamic partner to the Food and Beverage industry is looking for a Sales Support to join their team. We are searching for a candidate that understands exactly what it means to provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate must possess strong verbal as well as written communication skills and display a professional image of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the call center department.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales and meet or exceed sales targets of this department.
  • Monitor and evaluate call center performance, ensuring high quality customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Train, coach, and motivate call center staff to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technology advancements.
  • Assist the reps with queries regarding orders.
  • Pull Sales Support Report for agent's commission.
  • Support with sales events/functions and supplier studio events when necessary.
  • Line report for Sales Support department and all related responsibilities connected to this.
  • Delegate tasks between the Sales Support agents.
  • Train new sales support agents.
  • Oversee and assist sales support in managing queries and complaints.
  • Ensure all orders are placed on time before delivery cut-off times.
  • Ensure that procedures are followed to ensure the department runs smoothly.
  • Manage the credit application forms tracker and feedback between the Sales and Accounts department.
  • Allocate incoming leads/potential clients.
  • Ensure that the Sales Support Call Cycle is kept up to date.
  • Manage the rep stock room and ensure there is stock available.
  • Trip Sheet rep split and distribution.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Proven experience as a Call Center Manager or similar role in a sales environment.
  • Prior experience with Pastel, call center software systems, and/or Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong negotiation skills to drive sales performance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
