Account Executive

Cue is an AI customer communications software company. We enable businesses to engage with their customers at scale via our Chatbot and livechat technologies. We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Account Executive to help us expand our clientele in the South African market.

To excel in this role you should be a salesperson who consistently outperforms targets, is focused on solution based selling and has the drive to chase and close new business self-sourced as well as inbound leads. The goal is to drive sustainable growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Headquartered in Cape Town and London with a team around the world. We're building a global team to take on the world's communication challenges.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of sales closing experience within a startup environment where you have consistently outperformed targets.
  • You are an expert at pipeline generation using a multi-channel method including cold calling.
  • You've worked in high-volume SMB and mid-market sales environments before.
  • You thrive working in a target-oriented setting and a fast-paced company with huge opportunities to grow.
  • Have a track record of resilience, and a bias for action.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Generate your own pipeline by contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings through prospecting new leads and cold calling.
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch logistics.
  • Manage and drive the proposal process.
  • Work alongside the Support and Management team to create Account/Campaign planning, setups and communication.
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company.
  • Continuous sales development and learning.
