Job Responsibilities

To provide expert advice and support in practice formulation and associated best practice improvements.

Responsible for leading and developing a team of technical resources that provide operational project and technical support. Are you someone who can:

  1. Prioritize resource allocation to minimize and reduce wastage.
  2. Identify, control, and escalate potential risks that may lead to increased costs.
  3. Build professional long-term relationships with stakeholders based on trust that builds the brand.
  4. Deliver service that exceeds stakeholder expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solution selection and application.
  5. Ensure full understanding of stakeholder needs to deliver a quality service.
  6. Ensure stakeholder service solutions are aligned to the business operational plan, organizational values, and service standards.
  7. Communicate how stakeholder service solutions will be implemented and secure buy-in.
  8. Ensure product knowledge and advice is technically accurate and provide stakeholders with relevant information to keep them informed of products and service options.
  9. Ensure resolution of stakeholder queries and complaints timeously and ownership of issues.
  10. Analyze stakeholder feedback to help improve stakeholder service.
  11. Propose ideas to improve stakeholder service.
  12. Build relationships that allow for the managing of expectations; the sharing of knowledge and diverse insights; and the creation of buy-in.
  13. Engage in cross-functional relationships to obtain and provide work support.
  14. Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy, and governance requirements in area of accountability.
  15. Ensure implementation of relevant policies, governance, and practice standards across the business.
  16. Maintain knowledge on industry best practices and internal compliance procedures and requirements.
  17. Ensure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by the organization and review in response to audit findings and changes.
  18. Develop an understanding of risks and risk management approaches.
  19. Implement and provide input into the development of governance and compliance procedures and processes within area of specialization and identify risks.
  20. Educate others and make suggestions for improvements.
  21. Ensure the development, alignment, mapping, and implementation of end-to-end processes aligned to the stakeholder journey map.
  22. Research, enable, and consult on improvements and opportunities to harness technology and platform enablement.
  23. Review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimize redundancy.
  24. Understand competencies and skills required for own and employee's development and performance.
  25. Identify development needs and select effective solutions to address own and employee development needs.
  26. Ensure that each employee prepares a personal development plan that is implemented and reviewed as required.
  27. Provide on-the-job coaching and guidance.
  28. Manage team delivery against goals around responsibility.
  29. Participate in Talent Management practices and processes in line with HR policies and procedures.
  30. Ensure skills are transferred in specific functions.
  31. Ensure conflict resolution and respond to any complaints or concerns.
  32. Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders to achieve productivity synergies.
  33. Participate in specialist communities of practice and contribute positively to own and organizational knowledge improvement.
