A luxury hospitality group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join its head office team in Johannesburg. This role focuses on driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and expanding market share across the group's portfolio of premium properties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background within the hospitality industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering high-end experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, securing corporate, leisure, MICE, and travel trade clients.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with key accounts, travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate partners.
  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections to promote the group's properties.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with promotional campaigns.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a sales role within the luxury hospitality.
  • Strong network and existing relationships within corporate, travel trade, and MICE sectors.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills and proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • A passion for the luxury hospitality industry and delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, site inspections, and industry events when required.
