Location :Wyn burg, Cape town
Salary : R8000-R15000 (per month depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate records, and optimizing processes to minimize tax liabilities while maintaining compliance with South African regulations.

Responsibilities:
*Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
*Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
*Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial reports.
*Handle VAT, PAYE,UIF and other SARS related matters
*Strategize and implement methods to optimize tax liabilities legally.
*Manage cash flow and assist with budgeting
*Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants when required.

Requirements
*Minimum of 3years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
*Proficiency in accounting software ( e.g. Pastel, Sage or Quick books)
*Strong understanding of South African Tax laws and regulations.
*Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
*Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
*A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
