In house Bookkeeper wanted Location :Wyn burg, Cape townSalary : R8000-R15000 (per month depending on experience)We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate records, and optimizing processes to minimize tax liabilities while maintaining compliance with South African regulations.Responsibilities:*Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.*Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.*Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial reports.*Handle VAT, PAYE,UIF and other SARS related matters*Strategize and implement methods to optimize tax liabilities legally.*Manage cash flow and assist with budgeting *Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants when required.Requirements*Minimum of 3years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting *Proficiency in accounting software ( e.g. Pastel, Sage or Quick books)*Strong understanding of South African Tax laws and regulations.*Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.*Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.*A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.What we offer.*A competitive salary based on experience*Opportunities for growth within the company.*A collaborative Ans supportive work environment.
