Cape Town, South Africa Worksheetcloud Full time

Mission Are you the kind of person who loves to create marketing masterpieces and watch them perform in front of real customers? Do you wake up in the morning and think, "I can't wait to let the creative juices flow and create content that stops customers in their tracks"? Are you looking to gain experience and refine your marketing skills in an environment that is fun? If yes, then keep reading At WorksheetCloud, we help students across South Africa learn smarter, not harder. Our online learning platform makes studying fun, easy, and effective. We've got a passionate team, a bold mission, and a wicked sense of humour. We even have thousands of happy users who can't keep quiet about how much of a difference WorksheetCloud has made in the lives of their children. The only thing we don't have? A rockstar Junior Marketer and Content Creator to help take our marketing to the next level. Your Mission (Should You Choose To Accept It) To create and manage powerful, authentic content that inspires, informs, and connects with our parents and learners across South Africa. You'll help build a brand that people trust and love, one piece of content at a time. Your job isn't just to make things look pretty. Write words that convert. Bring ideas to life that make our audience say, "Wow, they get me." You’ll stay plugged into what's hot and happening in the marketing world, test new ideas fearlessly, and turn insights into action. You’ll embrace feedback, stay humble, and keep learning. Always. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Director to drive growth, deepen loyalty, create content that makes a real difference, and have a good laugh while you do it. If you bring the curiosity, grit, and creativity, we'll give you the space to create the best work of your career. What You’ll Be Doing Brainstorm, plan and produce short‑form video content for our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). Create image graphics for our social media platforms and PPC campaigns. Design and create website landing pages using WordPress and Divi, our online website builder. Write compelling, conversion‑focused sales emails. Craft engaging blog posts, scripts and website content. Help brainstorm marketing ideas and strategies. Keep a finger on the pulse of new online trends and platforms. Manage our content calendar and plan out when and where our content is posted. Work closely with the Marketing Director to improve content performance through testing and data insights. Document marketing processes to improve the efficiency of the marketing team. What We’re Looking For If it's not obvious by now, you are a creative at heart. You thrive in an environment where you're expected to think out of the box and come up with new ideas all the time. You understand social media and know how to create valuable and gripping content. You're fluent with tech. Computers, cameras, editing software, you name it. And when you don't know how to use something, you're able to learn and pick it up quickly. You're a self‑starter. You don't wait to be told what to do. You take initiative and run with it. A natural problem‑solver who thrives in a fast‑moving, growing company. You care deeply about your team, our mission and the parents and learners we serve. You embrace feedback. Even when it stings a little, you take it, learn, and bounce back stronger. You love learning. You read books, watch podcasts, and always look for ways to improve your skills and mindset. Someone with ridiculously good verbal AND written communication skills in English (Afrikaans is a bonus) – you're clear, concise and have the gift of the written word. You're organized and detail‑orientated. You notice the small things that polish good content into great content. You're fun to work with. If you're a wet blanket who can't take a joke, close this tab and look for something else. Bonus points if you've managed PPC campaigns before (Google and / or Facebook Ads). Bonus points if you've worked in an edtech or SaaS environment before. What Applying Looks Like We like to keep things transparent and efficient. Here's what you can expect: Short intro video submission (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. – share your link) along with your CV. Application review. Online language test to make sure that your language and communication skills are up to scratch. In‑person skills interview where we'll learn more about your abilities and see how your strengths match the role. In‑person culture interview where you'll sit down with our entire team so we can get to know you better and see if you're the right fit for our company culture. A final in‑person language test that you'll complete directly after the culture interview. We'll make you an offer. If we're both excited, we'll get you started fast.
