Hotel Manager required for a hotel based in East London 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage hotel staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor financial performance and budgetary compliance, including revenue management, expense control, and profitability analysis.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the hotel and maximize occupancy rates.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards for safety, hygiene, and guest accommodations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of local hospitality market trends and competition is desirable.
  • Certification in hotel management or hospitality industry accreditation is a plus.
