Call Centre Clerk

The Key purpose of the position is to ensure the effective processing of all documentation relevant to implement efficient stock administration processes that minimize risk and to maintain constant communication with customers (Internal/External) as well as liaising with drivers
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Process all documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Ensure DOMB’s are confirmed and actioned for delivery promptly and that customers are always contacted and kept informed.
• Communication to relevant branch and customer regarding any failed delivery.
• Ensure that delivery schedule is send to all branches daily.
• Action all incoming calls from suppliers, branches, drivers, and customers professionally and ensure the resolution of problems as a matter of urgency.
• Ensure the correct processing and scheduling of deliveries of drivers.
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping & cleanliness at all times in Offices.
• Ensure relevant documentation are reconciled and filed daily – All cancelled documents to be send to admin clerk for filing immediately once cancelation was processed.
• Ensure that all printers are always properly maintained with copy paper and cartridges to ensure that smooth printing of documentation.
• To take immediate action on all customer complaints (Internal or External), ensuring that service standards are of the highest standard.
• To resolve queries efficiently and effectively relating to stock & customer deliveries.
• To ensure reports required by Senior Management on a daily/monthly basis are completed accurately and timeously.
• Any admin function required by the Warehouse Manager within reason.
• Managing the pick list and ensuring that delivery notes are pulled as per the pick list sequence (FIFO)
• To be available and assist with internal stock takes.
Experience and competencies required:
• Matric
• 1 - 2 years’ experience in Furniture Retail environment
• Computer literate
