Senior Solutions Architect

Overview We are looking for an accomplished Senior Solutions Architect to join our Management Consulting Advisory Team. The ideal candidate is a strategic technology leader with extensive experience in designing implementing and governing enterprise-scale architecture solutions particularly within the financial services industry. You will partner with business and technology leaders to translate strategic objectives into scalable secure and efficient architectures. This role demands both technical depth and business acumen along with the ability to guide teams influence decisions and drive successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Client-Facing Responsibilities Translate complex business needs into comprehensive architecture and solution designs. Lead end-to-end architectural design across systems applications data and infrastructure. Conduct client workshops architecture reviews and technical discussions. Evaluate select and recommend appropriate technologies frameworks and platforms. Provide architectural oversight during project delivery to ensure alignment and scalability. Participate in architecture governance boards and ensure adherence to standards. Assess existing architectures and recommend modernization or optimization initiatives. Internal / Organizational Responsibilities Mentor coach and develop architecture and consulting team members. Contribute to proposal development RFPs and go-to-market strategies. Promote knowledge sharing thought leadership and methodology enhancement. Oversee project architecture risk management and stakeholder communication. Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or related field. Minimum 12 years of experience in software development systems architecture or related technical leadership roles. Proven track record as a Solutions Architect in large-scale complex enterprise environments ideally within financial services or consulting. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF Zachman). Expertise in architectural patterns such as microservices layered and event-driven systems. Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and hybrid architectures. Experience with DevOps CI / CD pipelines and modern delivery practices. Skilled in API design integration and security frameworks (OAuth2 SAML OpenID Connect). Proficiency with enterprise architecture tools like Sparx EA ADOIT ADONIS or Bizagi. Familiarity with ArchiMate notation and architecture modeling best practices. Certifications (Preferred) AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Google Professional Cloud Architect TOGAF Certified ITIL / COBIT ArchiMate Certified Soft Skills / Competencies Exceptional communication presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
