Role Description This full-time, on-site Product Marketer role based in the City of Cape Town is crucial to our operations as an external consultancy serving top tech brands. Unlike typical product marketing roles, this position is dedicated to understanding and executing product marketing for our clients' diverse needs. Key Responsibilities Market Analysis and Research : Lead comprehensive market research, including surveys and social sentiment analysis, to deeply understand the target market. Your work will lay the groundwork for all subsequent marketing efforts. Positioning and Messaging Frameworks (PMFs) : Specialise in developing PMFs that guide the creation of campaign assets, ensuring that our marketing strategies align precisely with client goals. Client-Focused Product Marketing : Manage product marketing projects from the perspective of enhancing client products' market position, not our own. This includes collaborating closely with clients to ensure our strategies meet their expectations. Selective Go-to-Market Strategy Execution : While you will involved in planning go-to-market strategies, your focus will be on the initial phases up to the campaign development, rather than full execution. Qualifications Extensive experience in market analysis and developing PMFs, particularly within the software sector. Background in software sales or marketing, ideally having worked for or with major brands like Microsoft, Oracle, or their resellers. Profound understanding of corporate technology buying personas and journeys, particularly for roles such as CFOs, CMOs, CEOs, and COOs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a capability to translate market insights into actionable marketing strategies. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. #J-18808-Ljbffr
