About the Role A Microsoft Solution Specialist in Cloud and Security, you will bridge customers with our Microsoft cloud & security portfolio. You’ll lead discovery, shape solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra, produce proposals/SOWs, and support bids and demos with a core emphasis on Microsoft security (Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra ID/IDP, Purview) and related services within Ekco. Key Responsibilities Customer discovery & requirements: Run scoping/discovery workshops, capture business objectives, and translate into clear requirements and solution scope. Solutioning: Design solutions across Microsoft 365 security and cloud, produce architectures, BoMs, and migration/hardening roadmaps. Presales process execution: Drive presales workflow, ensure proposal/SOW compliance, and follow escalation/approval steps. Proposals, tenders & funding: Author high‑quality proposals and SOWs with attention to detail. Support formal tenders and RFP responses, ensuring clarity and value. Technical writing & communication: Produce clear, concise, technically accurate documentation for proposals and customer deliverables; translate complex concepts for executive stakeholders. Engagement & enablement: Deliver demos, solution walkthroughs, and contribute to presales collateral, including Microsoft security topics. Requirements Strong technical writing capability with proven experience producing high‑quality proposals, tenders, and SOWs. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate technical language for C‑level and non‑technical audiences. 5+ years in Microsoft presales/consulting across M365 and Azure/Entra, with depth in Microsoft security (Defender XDR, Sentinel, Conditional Access/MFA, PIM). Experience leading customer workshops and mapping requirements to solutions and outcomes. Microsoft SC‑100/200/300/400 certifications (some certifications expected). Experience with public sector/enterprise tenders and bid QA; familiarity with Zero Trust, ISO 27001, NIST CSF.
