Fleet Support Services Supervisor

We are seeking the services of a Fleet Support Services Supervisor to join our dynamic team to comprehensively lead and direct the operations of the fleet support services team in order to ensure that Afrirent assets are maintained, adequately tracked, compliant and monitored throughout its life cycle. The role supervises the administration of insurance claims, the preparation and de-fleeting of vehicles in alignment with approved customer contracts and the administration of Afrirent pool vehicles

**NOTE: SALARY WILL BE DISCUSSED / NEGOTIATED WITH SUCCESFUL CANDIDATES.**

**Fleet Services Supervision**
- Monitors and supervises the daily operations of fleet services
- Communicates and monitors the achievement of targets
- Monitors adherence to standard operating procedures
- Monitors adherence to service level agreements (SLA’s) with customers and suppliers
- Reviews the processing of insurance claims to ensure that all claims are valid, accurate and complete
- Monitors that insurance claims are resolved timeously
- Develops processes and procedures to maintain accurate and updated records of all vehicles in the fleet
- Monitors and reports on fleet utilisation
- Supervises the implementation of all vehicles’ administrative and compliance processes including vehicle licence renewals and traffic fine infringements
- Supervises the implementation of accurate and timeous preparation and de-fleet services to ensure that the fleet is administered according to customers’ requirements and in line with Afrirent’s standard operating procedures
- Manages the daily processes of Afrirent’s pool vehicles and oversees that vehicles are adequately allocated for business use and maintained in order to ensure safe and reliable transportation of employees
- Initiates any actions required to maintain / improve service levels
- Reviews all support services reports, identifies issues and outstanding areas of compliance and implements measures to resolve issues

**Administration and Reporting**
- Coordinates the receipt of fleet services reports from the team and compiles comprehensive reports for management
- Submits reports on targets achieved, changes implemented and recommended improvements
- Provides feedback and recommendations on identified issues and improvements
- Identifies and creates new reports and reporting templates
- Uses innovative and proactive solutions to improve processes
- Implements effective quality control measures in order to maintain high levels of service and compliance standards

**Stakeholder Management**
- Develops working relationships with internal stakeholders to offer a complete solution to the customer
- Maintains high service levels and builds customer loyalty by exceeding the customer’s expectations thereby creating a positive and enhanced customer experience
- Supervises SLA’s with internal clients

**Team Supervision**
- Allocates workload and duties to the team
- Supervises the team’s activities and schedules and the quality of the outputs

Supervises the team in line with company policies
- Fosters a suitable and supportive environment conducive to staff development and the achievement of departmental objectives
- Implements staff development and training to achieve the unit and organisational objectives

Implements performance management measures and the manages performance of subordinate staff
- Counsels the team to address discipline and workplace conflict in accordance with approved policies and procedures

**Minimum**
- 5 years’ experience in the fleet industry
- 2 years’ team leader / supervisory experience

Diploma (NQF level 6) in Business Administration / Transport / Fleet Management

Pay: From R20 000,00 per month
