Overview WatersEdge Solutions is hiring an analytical and detail-oriented Intermediate QA Analyst to join a multidisciplinary software team delivering high-impact digital products. Location: Remote (South Africa-Based, with Quarterly In-Person Team Events in Stellenbosch) Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: SaaS | Digital Product Development | Quality Assurance Role As a QA Analyst, you’ll work across a variety of web, Android, and iOS platforms, applying both exploratory and structured testing methods to ensure top-tier quality. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, designers, product owners, and clients, taking ownership of risk analysis, test planning, execution, and reporting. Your voice will shape product success by ensuring bug-free, user-centric releases. Key Responsibilities Analyse product risks and prioritise areas for test coverage Develop and refine acceptance criteria with developers, clients, and product managers Perform exploratory testing and structured manual test runs Log defects clearly with steps to reproduce and supporting test evidence Plan and manage test cycles across projects and sprints Support quality throughout the delivery lifecycle—from sprint to release candidate Work across multiple platforms (Web, Android, iOS) Stay up to date on QA tooling, best practices, and team-wide process improvement Balance workload across multiple concurrent projects (max two preferred) Defend product quality with clarity and logic when raising concerns or issues What You’ll Bring Minimum 4 years of experience in software QA ISTQB Foundation Level Certification Experience with API testing and QA tools (e.g. Postman, SQL, Azure DevOps) Knowledge of QA methodologies and agile testing practices Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams and clients Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Ability to work autonomously and estimate effort accurately Willingness to share learnings and failures for team growth Positive, curious mindset and a love for continuous learning Nice to Have Experience building your own project or product Involvement in open-source contributions Interest in horizontal skill development over deep specialisation Mentoring aspirations or informal coaching experience Startup or agency experience with exposure to fast-paced, high-variation work What’s On Offer Remote-first working model with regular in-person collaboration sessions Hands-on exposure to diverse industries, clients, and technologies Personal development time and budget Work-life balance and a people-first, learning-driven culture Collaborative team structure with cross-functional support Company Culture WatersEdge Solutions partners with purpose-driven teams that believe in solving meaningful problems through elegant, user-friendly software.
