A degree in education will be highly advantageous. Minimum of 3 years leadership experience, ideally in an educational or residential environment. Teaching, facilitation, or hostel environment experienc e. Experience working with children or teenagers (teaching, mentoring, or youth leadership). Strong skills in life coaching or life skills facilitation (e.g. communication, conflict resolution). Valid first aid training and ability to handle emergencies with calmness and fairness. Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English . Ability to engage effectively with learners, parents, and staff. Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable, warm personality. Respect for diverse cultural backgrounds. Flexibility to adapt to varied working hours and responsibilities . Key Responsibilities: Daily supervision and management of childrens schedules. Overseeing childrens wellbeing, including health and safety. Managing staff and ensuring high standards of excellence. Coordinating and overseeing courses, activities, and assessments. Delivering interactive and practical sessions that encourage participation. Guiding children in developing leadership styles and life skills. Facilitating group discussions, activities, and roleplays. Creating a safe, respectful, and inspiring learning environment. Supporting the rollout of holiday programmes and academic excellence courses. Accommodation is included with this role.
