Are You Someone Who Can Own the product lifecycle for payroll and tax-related features – from ideation to launch and beyond. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, compliance, sales, and customer success. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform product strategy. Translate complex tax and payroll requirements into clear product specifications. Ensure compliance with local and international payroll and tax regulations. Define and track key product metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement. Serve as the subject matter expert on payroll and tax within the product team. You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You Have Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager, preferably in fintech, HR tech, or SaaS. Strong domain expertise in payroll systems and tax compliance (e.g., PAYE, UIF, SDL, VAT, etc.). Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and statutory reporting requirements. Experience working with agile development teams and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification is a plus.
