As a QA Functional Tester in the Casino Operations Team, you’ll be supporting the delivery of high-quality gaming experiences by ensuring games are thoroughly tested, accurately configured, and fully compliant before release. This includes end-to-end game testing, issue identification and escalation, configuration validation, and cross-functional collaboration. Your contribution will help us maintain exceptional product quality, enhance player satisfaction, and ensure smooth game launches, keeping us ahead of the game in a fast-paced and competitive industry. What You’ll Be Doing Game Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing of games across multiple platforms, ensuring functionality, performance, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans tailored to each game release. Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to identify defects and inconsistencies. Defect Identification & Management: Log, track, and manage bugs and issues using Jira, ensuring clear documentation and prioritization. Collaborate with development, product, and compliance teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and re-testing of fixes. Game Configuration Validation: Verify game configurations (e.g., RTP, volatility, bonus features) against provider specifications and internal requirements. Ensure promotional tools and feature settings are correctly implemented and tested before release. Compliance & Standards Assurance: Validate games against jurisdictional compliance requirements and internal QA benchmarks. Support audits and certification processes by providing detailed QA documentation and evidence. Test Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of test results, test coverage, and issue resolution using Confluence and other QA tools. Generate QA reports and dashboards for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, risks, and release readiness. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, developers, and operations teams to align on release goals and quality expectations; provide QA insights during planning and post-launch retrospectives. Essential Skills You’ll Bring Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively. Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals. Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs. Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations. Relevant tertiary education. 3 years QA Testing Experience – solid understanding of manual testing methods and QA processes. Bug Tracking – Experience using tools like Jira to log and manage issues. Attention to Detail – ability to spot inconsistencies and ensure high-quality outputs. Clear Communication – strong written and verbal skills for cross-team collaboration. Documentation & Reporting – comfortable using Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint to track and share QA findings. Adaptability – able to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment. Problem-Solving – analytical mindset to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Desirable Skills In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends. Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations. Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards. Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies. Gaming Industry Experience – Familiarity with online gaming or casino platforms. Sports Betting Knowledge – Understanding of odds, betting types, and market dynamics. Compliance Awareness – Knowledge of gambling regulations across different regions. Technical Understanding – Ability to grasp game configurations and platform integrations. Process Improvement – Experience contributing to QA process enhancements.
