Senior Financial Administrator Job Description The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of an attorney practice, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records are maintained. Responsibilities Managing trust accounts, preparing client invoices, and performing payroll processing. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and client trust accounts. Prepare and issue client invoices for legal services rendered, adhering to firm billing policies, rates, and terms. Oversee the operation of the firm's trust accounts, ensuring compliance with the Legal Practitioners Act, local regulations, and firm policies regarding client funds. Administer the payroll for all staff, ensuring accurate salary calculations, deductions, and tax submissions, while complying with relevant labor laws. Providing expert financial advice and support to ensure the smooth operation of the practice. Implementing and maintaining financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Qualifications At least 5-7 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably within a legal or professional services environment. Highly skilled in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
