A purpose-led financial services business based in Cape Town is looking for a qualified finance professional to step into a Financial Manager role. The organisation operates in the development finance space. The environment is young, warm, and collaborative and they're looking for someone who is hands-on, values-driven, and looking to grow within a close-knit team. This is a full-time, office-based position. You'll report directly to the CEO and lead a small but capable finance team. The position plays a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations, compliance, and internal reporting, while also contributing to the broader leadership of the business. What you'll be doing: Leading the finance function across several group entities Preparing and presenting financial reports for internal leadership and the board Managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and audit processes Overseeing payroll, HR-related admin, and general compliance Supporting a small internal team including junior finance staff Driving operational efficiency and internal controls What we're looking for: CA(SA) with 2-3 years post-articles experience Background in financial services, lending, or development finance beneficial Strong communication and leadership skills Empathy, high EQ, and a hands-on, team-first approach Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems (Xero/SimplePay an advantage) What's in it for you?
