Site Agent (Commercial Construction) Western Cape Established And Reputable Commercial Construction Firm is in need of highly efficient pro‑active and presentable Site Agent to join their dynamic team of professionals. With extensive experience on multi‑disciplinary commercial construction projects you bring a results‑driven approach to managing teams, coordinating stakeholders and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Programme & Project Management Programme management and end‑to‑end project oversight Draft and maintain the overall project programme Issue fortnightly micro‑programmes to track detailed progress Monitor and report on project progress (including reading / interpreting Gantt charts) Ensure project completion within the specified timeline Compile and issue bi‑weekly project progress reports (internal and client‑facing) Team & Stakeholder Coordination Manage the full on‑site project team Oversee sub‑contractor performance and coordination Attend and present at site meetings with stakeholders Compile and issue minutes for all sub‑contractor meetings Coordinate with the client and professional teams throughout the project lifecycle Approve site material and equipment orders Site Management & Compliance Ensure the construction site is always presentable and well‑organized Oversee and enforce site health and safety compliance Implement and monitor waste management plans Ensure all building work complies with industry regulations, bylaws and issued drawings Direct and monitor daily site activities and progress Manage site‑based project office administration Documentation & Reporting Record site instructions and maintain accurate records Issue updated drawings to sub‑contractors and track distribution Report any drawing issues or discrepancies" Record daily quality inspections and report on workmanship Compile project photo library documenting construction stages Prepare and deliver handover documentation for the operator / client General Administration Handle general office administration for the site Maintain organised records and documentation to support project audits and closeout Qualification Skills And Experience Required Education B-Tech / BSc in Construction Management or National Diploma in Building or a related field Experience 8 Years of proven experience as a Site Agent with solid and proven commercial construction knowledge i.e. construction methods, materials, structural systems and finishing processes. 4-5 Years of direct people management experience (construction teams and sub‑contractors) Proven pro Demonstrated experience managing multi‑disciplinary projects Track record of successfully delivering medium to large‑scale projects (R40 million to R150 million in value) Sector experience must include high‑end residential, commercial and retail construction Technical Skills Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook Proven project programming proficiency gained on MS Projects and / or Candy CCS for project planning and costing Ability to read and interpret drawings, site set‑up and logistics, health and safety compliance as well as quality control Additional Requirements Valid Drivers License Own reliable transport Key Skills Sales Experience Microsoft Office Customer Service Organizational skills Communication skills Construction Experience Microsoft Excel Underwriting To apply for this role please forward an updated and detailed copy of your CV to Lameez Herborn : and Andrea Jones : Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
