An excellent opportunity has become available for a Site Agent, within a leader in the Construction / Mining environment. The position is based in Congo, DRC.

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Experience as a Site Agent within the construction / mining environments
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership and human resources management skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and control all aspects of the building works on site, including staff and sub-contractors
- Site Administration:

- Files in order
- Drawing controls and filing in place
- Sub-contractors minutes of meeting in place
- Time sheets in place
- Programming in place
- Progress Reports in place
- Daily Reports in place
- Contract Instructions in place
- Contra charge sheets in place
- Quality Control Sheets in place
- Contractual letters and notices in place
- Stacking and storage, issuing and receiving
- Completion lists issued to relevant parties
- Completion Certificates in place
- Registers in place
- Tests reports in place
- Site Management:

- Orders placed timously
- Contract Programme management
- Sub-contractors control and management; and Sub-contractors meetings in place
- Waste control management
- General Quality management
- Necessary tests in place
- Datums and levels in order
- Drawings and Specifications management
- Accurate setting out
- Material control management
- Plant and Equipment management
- P&G management
- Labour management
- Practical, Works and Final Completion management
- Hand Over Procedures in place
- Safety Management:

- Safety documentation in place
- First aid boxes in place
- Signage in place
- Barricading & Hoarding in place
- Safety inspections and safe working environment
- Storage and stacking in order
- Housekeeping in order
- Communication:

- Communication with Q.S.; Safety department; Client / Professional team; sub-contractors; and management
