This is a full‑cycle sales role and you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities. This role is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days a week in our Johannesburg or Cape Town office. What will I be doing We are expanding the existing Account Executive team due to rapid growth and accelerated revenue with a team of specialist Enterprise and Mid‑Market Account Executives. You will own the full sales cycle for enterprise and mid‑market‑level accounts, encompassing the entire 360° sales process. This includes establishing and working with partners in your territory and presenting and demonstrating Darktrace's cyber‑threat‑defence solutions to CISOs and information security experts. You will also attend marketing events and security conferences, and close the largest deals in the business with the support of a dedicated SDR team for lead generation. Collaborating with in‑house technical experts, you will present and demonstrate our cutting‑edge threat‑defence solutions to key stakeholders. Darktrace provides an excellent onboarding experience, extensive training and ongoing support from mentors. Requirements Previous B2B full‑lifecycle sales experience in an enterprise‑level, full‑lifecycle closing role. Strong communicator, confident, polished, capable of building strong and lasting working relationships, motivated by generous uncapped commission and thrives in a target‑driven environment.
