If so, we invite you to join our team as a Learning and Development Specialist at Novo Nordisk South Africa, JohannesburgRead more and apply today The position As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills and capabilities of our frontline employees. Your responsibilities will be to: Design, develop, and deliver impactful training programmes to improve product knowledge, compliance, and customer engagement skills. Equip teams with the skills to leverage digital tools and platforms effectively. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs to align training with business objectives. Facilitate onboarding for new employees and provide ongoing mentorship, including in-field coaching. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and skills: Strong knowledge of Agile Methodology, Lean Thinking, and Scrum principles. Proficiency in Kanban principles and Lean-Agile Leadership. Expertise in coaching, facilitation, and Agile Product Management. Familiarity with Flow and Design Thinking concepts. Proven ability to design and deliver training programmes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a regulated environment. Knowledge of digital tools and emerging trends in training and development. Strong analytical skills for evaluating training effectiveness Fluent English Bachelor’s degree in life science or healthcare Driver’s license About the department This role is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, where Novo Nordisk has a vibrant and collaborative office environment.
