Company Overview: Our client, a medium-sized accounting firm in Knysna, serves a diverse range of clients, offering comprehensive financial services. The ideal candidate will work closely with the tax team under the guidance of the tax manager and tax administrator.
Experience/Qualifications:
• Matric certificate with accounting
• Accounting or tax qualification is beneficial
• Experience in tax and accounting is advantageous
Responsibilities:
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts
• Assist with tax administration
• Prepare tax calculations
• Prepare VAT and EMP201 returns
• Provide assistance with SARS objections, disputes, and verifications
• Handle Tax Clearance applications
• Follow up with SARS and attend SARS appointments
• Deal with clients and address client queries
