ServiceNow Solution Architect – DXC Technology Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, South AfricaSeniority Level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting Job Overview A ServiceNow Solution Architect at DXC Technology is responsible for designing, implementing, and customizing ServiceNow solutions that meet organizational needs, integrating with other enterprise systems, and ensuring successful adoption by end‑users. Key Responsibilities Solution Design – Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design a ServiceNow solution that meets those needs. Implementation – Lead the implementation of the ServiceNow solution, coordinating with developers, administrators, and other stakeholders. Integration – Integrate ServiceNow with other systems (e.g., HR, IT, finance) using APIs, web services, and middleware. Customization – Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations to meet specific organizational requirements. Testing – Conduct functional, performance, and user‑acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets specifications. Documentation – Create and maintain documentation covering requirements, design, implementation, and operational procedures. Training – Provide training to end‑users and administrators on new features, processes, and best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions. Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow development, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, modules, databases, and security. Excellent communication skills – ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Team‑player mindset with collaboration experience across multiple business units. Strong problem‑solving and creative thinking skills. ServiceNow certification is preferred but not required.
