What you will be doing The role involves designing and managing the operational system for a logistics marketplace, focusing on driver onboarding, real‑time operations, client experience, and compliance, with an emphasis on scaling the service into new cities. Key Responsibilities Driver Operations & Quality Control Build and manage driver onboarding workflows, including background checks, training and compliance. Optimise driver supply by zone and demand, and implement performance standards. Develop incentive programs and operational policies to ensure high driver engagement. Real‑Time Operations Oversee dispatch operations, delivery success rates and route optimisation. Implement escalation protocols for late deliveries, incidents, and client issues. Ensure 24/7 operational coverage across support and field teams. Marketplace Management Balance driver supply against delivery demand to maintain service reliability. Monitor coverage areas and create surge, pricing and capacity rules for efficiency. Client Operations Lead onboarding for new business clients and standardise service‑level agreements (SLAs). Define premium service standards to improve client satisfaction and retention. Compliance & Risk Oversee insurance, liability, documentation and safety protocols. Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and develop safety and incident reporting procedures. Build and lead operations teams across driver ops, support, dispatch, field ops, and QA. Partner with executive leadership to align operational needs with technology and growth strategies. Design scalable systems and SOPs for expansion into new cities. Strategic Growth Develop expansion playbooks for new cities and identify partnership opportunities. Provide operational insights to guide company‑wide strategic decisions. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience running operations for logistics or marketplace companies. Expertise in delivery routing, dispatch workflows, and service logistics. Strong leadership skills managing large, distributed teams. Proficiency with operational KPIs, dashboards and performance management. Deep understanding of compliance, safety and quality control. Excellent crisis management and issue resolution skills. Ability to build repeatable, scalable systems and SOPs. Preferred Background Operations experience at Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart, Amazon Logistics, FedEx, UPS, or similar. Experience in medical courier operations is a significant advantage. Background in marketplace scaling, dispatch, or field operations. Where and How You Can Work Work on‑site from our office. Be willing to work non‑traditional local office hours.
