Duties:
  • Assisting the production department in achieving optimum efficiencies through timeously and efficiently attending to the technical requirements of their machinery and auxiliary equipment during maintenance, repair and servicing.
  • Trade Tested in a relevant field.
  • Proven hands-on experience in Injection Moulding, with expertise in working with large moulds.
  • Strong mechanical skills and experience with turning and milling.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a plastic production environment.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in faultfinding and process control.
  • PLC programming certificate.
  • Wiremans licence would be advantageous.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Self disciplined and motivated.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic.
  • Overtime and standby will be required from time to time.
  • A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
