**Job purpose**
- To co-ordinate and execute all mechanical engineering activities in the area of responsibility at the Brits Manufacturing Plant.

**Main responsibilities**
- **Reduce Machine Downtime**
- Repair breakdowns and do faultfinding
- Daily walkthrough inspections
- Make running adjustments
- Note items for repair
- Container Installations and Press setup
- Bladder Changes
- Mould/Container/Bladder Ring Maintenance
- Mould Cleanings
- Admin: Bladder counts and record keeping on a daily basis
- **Continuous Improvement Initiatives**
- Attend CFT activities / scrap meetings
- **Safety**
- Execute work according to SOP’s
- **Housekeeping**

**Education**:

Grade 12 AND Trade test certificate

Computer literate

**Experience**:
At least 1-2 years’ experience as a fitter.
