Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Millwright to join their mining operation in the North-West province. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery and equipment used in underground and surface mining operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mining equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Repair or replace faulty components and parts
  • Install and commission new equipment
  • Adhere to safety regulations and practices at all times
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Millwright Trade test
  • 5 years' experience in the mining industry post apprentice.
  • Experience in founder/smelter environment.
  • Technical Qualification (Fitting and Machining/Turning, Electrical Technical Qualifications)
  • N6 Certificate
  • Valid driver's license
