Job Description Job Title: Security Inspector Reporting to: Security Manager Job Type: Permanent Position Responsibilities (Not Limited to the Below) Posting of Security Personnel Perform site inspections at satellite branches and discuss preventative measures. Identify and mitigate risk Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures Support management with security operations Manage conflict and client dissatisfaction Investigate and manage on-site incidents Training Security personnel to ensure the safety of the company’s employees, clients and property. Ensure efficiency and productivity of Security personnel. Ensure that the Company rules, procedures and policies are adhered to at all times within the expected deadlines. Ensuring that discipline is enforced. Ensure that Occupational Health and safety regulations are enforced and adhered to. Evaluating all collated information and documentation. Risk Auditing and reporting Support control room as and when needed Qualifying Criteria Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent with good numeracy and literacy skills Driver’s license and own, reliable transport is essential At least 5 years of Supervisory experience in the Safety & Security Sector Registered with PSIRA – Minimum Grade A Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Willing to work irregular hours (shifts) and overtime In good health and physical stature Sober habits Disciplined to apply company policies and procedure Control Room experience is advantageous Qualifying Attributes Be trustworthy and honest Ability to take responsibility Committed, hardworking and self-motivated Strong interpersonal skills Time management and organizational skills Display a professional work approach Ability to work independently and within a team Excellent standards in execution Excellent problem-solving skills Hard-working and self-motivated Benefits Include Provident Fund Life cover at 4 X annual salary Funeral cover 15 X paid leave days per annum Long service leave after five years of employment. Standard Hours 07h30 – 17h00: Monday to Thursday07h30 – 16h00: FridayWork overtime as per operational requirements.
