Introduction We are currently building a talent pool of motivated and committed individuals for our 12‑month National Certificate in Freight Handling. Triton Academy is a TETA‑accredited training provider offering courses in Freight Handling and Professional Driving to both staff and unemployed learners. These courses are designed to develop industry‑ and job‑specific skills, empowering participants with the knowledge and competencies needed to excel in the logistics field. Training is available in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town. The Academy can also assist customers wherever possible with the same courses. The programme aims to empower unemployed South African youth through structured training and hands‑on experience in the logistics industry. Responsibilities Loading and off‑loading goods from vehicles Preparing a vehicle for trips Receiving, dispatching, and handling freight documentation Performing ancillary warehouse and transport‑related duties Delivery and collection of goods and stock General housekeeping and maintaining clean workspaces Picking and packing stock accurately Receiving incoming stock and verifying against documentation Ensuring correct stacking and securing of goods for safe transport Learning & Development Structured theoretical training aligned with unit standards, workplace practical experience and mentorship, assessment preparation for final external verification. Requirements South African citizen Grade 12 / TVET – N3 / NQF Level 2 qualification with at least 40% in Maths and English Age between 18 and 35 years Medically fit Ability to read and write English Numerically oriented Prepared to work on weekends and shifts Clear criminal record Reside in the following areas: Tselinyama, Claremont, Mariann Hill, Chatsworth, Mariann Ridge, Pinetown, Ashley Will be advantageous to have: Own reliable transport Computer literacy Previous work experience Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (approx.)
