Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sysop Team Lead based in Johannesburg, CA. The Sysop Team Lead will oversee the daily IT systems and operations, ensuring optimal system performance and security. Responsibilities include system monitoring, troubleshooting, implementing process improvements, managing system backups, and optimizing system performance. The Team Lead will also coordinate across departments, provide team supervision, and contribute to strategic IT planning and projects. Qualifications Strong experience with system operations, network management, and IT infrastructure. Proficiency in troubleshooting, system monitoring, and implementing process optimizations. Hands‑on experience with system backups, data recovery, and cybersecurity protocols. Capabilities in leadership, team management, and cross‑departmental collaboration. Excellent problem‑solving skills and an analytical mindset. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Cisco) or comparable experience preferred.
