Introduction We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Management Accountant to join our team. Do you possess the following key behavioural traits? Critical and strategic thinking, profit-driven and cost-focused, results and goal orientated with exceptional attention to detail. This is a fantastic opportunity reporting to the Chief Financial Officer as this will assist you to help the management team drive operational efficiencies to enable decision-making that will ensure business growth and long-term success. You will be responsible for analysing key financial information and optimising financial planning. Key Responsibilities Prepare & present management accounts to executive management. Ensure management accounts are accurate & reliable. Comparison of actual, plan & budget - understanding variances. Work closely across departments to manage cost & interpreting variance. Involved with month-end journals & weekly management reporting requirements. Involved in the annual budget process. Working with operations & depots to discuss methods to improve cost & drive efficiency. Working closely with HR to manage costs, and headcounts as this is a key driver of costs. Compile and share insights on ad-hoc reports requested by the business. Minimum Requirements CIMA or BComm Degree essential. SAP experience would be an added advantage. Advanced Excel skills, understanding database tables and structures. 3-5 years of management accounting and financial analysis experience. Logistics sector experience would be an added advantage. Very strong administrative and organizational skills. Valid Code 08 driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
