AWC Staff Services are looking for a Pre-Construction Manager for Waste Networks working in the North East. They are problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Water and Wastewater Capital Project Delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. What will you be doing The Pre-Construction Manager (Waste Networks) plays a crucial role in connecting design and construction. The role is a key function to ensure collaboration with the Principal Designer at the Pre-Construction Stage. You will be required to sit on client meetings, gather data, produce activity schedules, and provide scoping survey requirements on the wastewater network, providing knowledge and feedback to the wider team. You will implement the project requirements to fully meet the client specifications in accordance with relevant standards. You will be responsible for managing programmes to ensure key deadlines are met. You should be confident to work under minimal supervision, and competent to check the work of others and supervise less experienced or junior staff. What you'll bring Experience and knowledge of the wastewater network. Provide technical advice with alternative solutions for design and support technical reviews. Full Driving License.
