Senior Buyer - Gauteng Join a dynamic team as a Senior Buyer and take the lead in driving procurement excellence. This role is pivotal in sourcing high-quality materials, building strategic vendor relationships, managing costs, and supporting new product development initiatives. You will also focus on continuously developing the procurement department to align with organisational objectives. Main Activities Procurement Strategy and Strategic Sourcing Develop procurement strategies, including inventory management and risk mitigation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement aligns with business goals. Vendor Management Monitor and manage vendor performance using scorecards and structured reviews. Collaborate with vendors for product improvement and innovation opportunities. Cost Management Maintain open-book costing with contract manufacturers. Ensure competitive pricing through regular benchmarking. Best Procurement Practices Drive strategies supporting BBBEE objectives and corporate governance. Project Management and Reporting Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project timelines and objectives are achieved. At the heart of this role is a commitment to best procurement practices.
