Role Summary The main responsibility of the Credit Controller is to coordinate the debts of existing creditors and deciding whether to allow credit to debtor, working to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty. This is achieved by maintaining close links with customers to handle collection, resolution of account queries, raising sales invoices, issuing credit notes and debt recovery. Job Responsibilities Credit Control - Ensure that credit control is performed and delivered to set targets and deadlines Improvement work according to the Scania Way (SRS) - Understand and act according to the Scania way framework Accounting and Financial Systems, Processes and Technology - Designing, implementing and maintaining financial management and reporting systems and complementary financial and administrative business processes, to support the effective and judicious use of financial resources. Business Perspective - Using an understanding of business issues, processes and outcomes to enhance business performance. Information Gathering and Processing - Locating and collecting data from appropriate sources and analyzing it to prepare meaningful and concise reports that summarize the information. Products and Services - Maintains an up to date understanding of products and services necessary to perform duties and tasks. Understands Scania products and services value proposition connected to processes and business. Reporting - Create written and comprehensive reports, including KPI’s and other measurements, following set defined procedures and standards making use of applicable reporting systems and tools Minimum Requirements Relevant education within the Finance space in relation to credit management and control 2-5 year’s work experience from similar role and automotive industry as an advantage Fluent English Required Skillset Data Control Data Collection and Analysis Analyze Alternatives and Recommend Solutions Numerical Skills Action Planning Verbal Communication Review and Reporting Computer Skills Risk Management Integrity & Compliance All applications will be treated with full confidentiality and will only be made available to the people involved in the recruitment process.
