Overview Location: ZAF - Cape Town, Falcon Cres (Headquarter) Job Posting Title: Business Development Manager, Sales, Air & Sea Time Type: Full Time Main Purpose of the Role The successful candidate is required to secure new business opportunities that are aligned with the organization's preferred client profile and to achieve all revenue targets as outlined in the Sales Contracts. Job Related Requirements Minimum of 1 year sales experience in freight forwarding, supply chain or logistics environment, with a good understanding of Air, Ocean and Road transportation, Forwarding and Customs Clearance. Own vehicle Valid driver's license Electives Ability to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline Good communication skills, ability to converse with senior management Able to conduct presentation when required Well groomed & presented Able to work individually as well as in team environment. Hunter mentality Good organistion skills Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internally with ops and other staff members Driven and ambitious Solution driven & strong ability to problem solve Computer Skills Proficient in Excell, Powerpoint , Word and Outlook Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics CRM system advantageous Duties and Responsibilities Manage and build a Sustainable Sales Pipeline Manage all opportunities, Accounts and Productivity on Dynamics our prescribed CRM system Manage an effective Diary Build strategic relationships at multiple levels within their client base Focus on Consultative Selling to strengthen our position from a supply chain perspective Meet monthly / quarterly targets Meet weekly & monthly call targets DSV – Global transport and logistics Working at DSV means playing in a different league.
