Management Accountant

Seeking a talented and motivated Management Accountant to join my client's finance team. As a Management Accountant specializing in the insurance and financial services sector, you will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making.
Duties:
- Full set of management accounts to group.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess the financial performance of various business segments and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial impact of new products, pricing strategies, and business initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and other financial reports in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the business.
- Provide financial guidance and support to departmental managers and executives to facilitate informed decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in management accounting, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
