Duties:
  • Design, plan, and oversee the construction and maintenance of substations.
  • Analyze and resolve complex engineering issues in coordination with field operations and other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with national, state, and local regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and review engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, and reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize substation operations.
  • Provide technical support for substation operations and maintenance.
  • Manage projects from inception through completion, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in substation design, construction, or maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and power generation and distribution.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in both team and independent settings.
  • Willingness to travel as required by projects.
